While I definitely find pleasure in learning new things, I’m not one to sit at my desk all day studying. I believe that it’s important to go out of school and explore outside of academics to enrich my life and make it such that in an academic-driven world, doing well in school is not the only thing that defines me.

Outside of academics, I enjoy volunteering and music. At my peak, I’ve volunteered with 4 organizations at once - TOUCH (TYA), Dementia Singapore, Tembusu Senior Activity Centre, and the Institute of Mental Health. While I have worked with almost all groups of people, I’d like to be able to explore volunteering at an animal shelter, an orphanage, as well as a hospice. As for music, I enjoy playing the piano, the ukulele, the Chinese flute, and a bit of the guitar with singing.
